I love backslanted type. My logo is backslanted (in case you didn’t notice), and when I look at other backslanted styles, I mostly find its quirkiness charming.
In my freetime, I play clarinet. If you never heard me playing, check it out, I have a video on YouTube. Last week, when I read older music sheets, I spotted this wonderful word: Pianoforte

I have no idea what typeface this could be, but I wanted to play with it and created my own interpretation. Just as an exercise, I made a Variable Font with these few letters and generated a litte animation. In case one of you knows something about the original font, please let me know!
